Groundhog's Day (a day early)!
How many more days of winter? On Monday, February 2nd, everyone's favorite groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil, will make his annual appearance. Will he see his shadow or will spring be just around the corner? Make your own prediction and complete a groundhog craft the day before he emerges from his burrow! Don't forget to visit our shadow room for some shadow fun!

Jr. Scientist: Sweet Experiments
Monday, Feb. 16, 8:30 am-12 noon
This day is all about candy! What is chocolate bloom? Whatís up with PopRocks? Do you know how to braid Twizzlers? Can you explode marshmallows? Who knew science was so sweet!

Jr. Engineers: LEGO Fun!
Tuesday, Feb. 17, 8:30 am-12 noon
Come join us for a day of design and building fun! Children will use a variety of LEGO toys to build their own city, animals, or structures, and are even invited use the museumís collection of Dream-Up toys to incorporate trains into their designs! Campers will also be able to design their very own LEGO necklace to take home.

• Best for ages 5-9 years.
• Admission: One day: $47 ($35 member).
• Or choose BOTH days: $72 ($60 member).

Read Across America Day (a day early)!
March 2nd is Dr. Seussí birthday, but we are celebrating it a day early! Join us for special activities all day and a Dr. Suess story every hour from 12:30-3:30 pm.

Sunday, Mar. 8, 2pm
FAMILY WORKSHOP: Maple Sugaring
Come learn about the process of making maple syrup including a lesson on how to tap a maple tree at the museum. Decorating tree cookies and maple tasting for everyone. Bring the family to the museum and learn something together!
• $8 fee per family for program, museum admission optional.

Dine Out at Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant
Eat Local and Support Local! Our good friends at Flanders Fish Market & Restaurant invite you to dine out and support the Museum. A portion of the evening's proceeds will be donated to the Museum! A delicious way to support local.

Smart Cart in the Museum
Tuesdays-Fridays, 11:15am
Our educators join you on the museum floor and bring something from creatures to mad science!
• Free with admission.

Dollar Night!
Friday, Feb. 6, and Friday, Mar. 6, 4:30-8pm
Just one (1) dollar per person over the age of 1 makes this Friday night affordable for all due to the generosity of Electric Boat Employees Community Services Association.
Note: As always, last admission is 30 minutes before closing.
