Join our first ever Frozen Party! Have a blast with frozen demonstrations using liquid nitrogen. Make some fun crafts including your own marshmallow snowman, and sample everyone’s favorite frozen treat: ice cream! Meet the beautiful Snow Queen, sing along to your favorite songs, and take a photo with our life-size snowman balloon! You will even get your own special balloon to take home from April’s Balloon Creations!

Local author and illustrator Anna Westbrook is visiting the museum! Ms. Westbrook will read aloud and lead fun activities related to her most recent publication, I Will Never Stop Coloring.
Ms. Westbrook will have books available for purchase and signing. Just in time for last minute gift giving!

What's the ONLY New Year's event for children and families in southeastern Connecticut? Our annual Countdown to Noon! And this year, it's bigger than ever! Thanks to our event partner, East Lyme Parks & Recreation, the celebration is moving to East Lyme Community Center, 37 Society Rd., Niantic, CT. Museum will be closed today as all the fun has been moved just minutes away! Make 2015 a Fit & Healthy New Year. Explore the constellations with StarLab. Build, create, imagine with "Lets Get Building." "Crazy Science" and activities galore! Storytelling with the Children's Librarians of East Lyme Public Library. Balloons drop at Noon and activities continue until 4!

Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream. Do you have a dream? Come to a poetry workshop and learn to turn your dreams into words through poetry!
• 60-minute workshop: 10-11am

Our educators join you on the museum floor and bring something from creatures to mad science!
