The Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut took the bull by the horns and made a productive year out of 2010, despite the economy.
We installed a new outdoor exhibit designed by local school children, and several new exhibits inside. If you haven’t had a chance to see them yet, please come by and ask for a tour – you won’t want to miss the huge tree fort! We’re proud of the physical improvements we’ve made to the museum, but we didn’t stop there. We also tackled the Museum’s branding and marketing. Check out our new tagline, below, in green. It represents a promise we make to our visitors and describes the activities that happen here every day. Providing wholesome, low-tech, exploratory exhibits that grow with a child, our mission is to encourage imagination and creativity so our youngest generation is able to solve the problems of tomorrow.
We’ve become experts at running the Museum with a low-cost and no-cost perspective, yet we still need your help and commitment to keep our organization strong. Whether you give $50, $100, $1000, $5000, or join our legacy circle, The Tree House Club, your contribution is an investment to help us continue to serve the community by providing quality experiences for children of all abilities and from all walks of life.
The benefits of the museum stretch beyond our purple front door, extending to the entire region. Discover the joy of giving and please consider a tax-deductible donation to the Museum; it’s a contribution to the future of our children.
